Travelling home for the holidays

As I travel North to spend the holidays with family and friends, I reflect on a question posed to me many years ago. What does Christmas mean to you?

To me Christmas means spending time with loved ones, enjoying their company and their conversations. It isn't about the gifts, food or drink, although I appreciate these things.

It's the feeling of love, a sense of belonging and compassion among fellow humans.

So cherish the memories of Christmases past and look forward to those yet to come.
